Chapter Grants & Stipends

There are three ways to earn more. you can do it your way.

Stipends (money you get just for existing, use it for whatever you want)
Bonus Funds (get anywhere from $15-$50 just for doing activities your chapter normally would anyway, you just have to fill us in)
Grants (the big money, request funding for a specific project or activity)

what to expect each semester

$50-$75 stipend based on membership.

Up to $250 in grants.

official chapter

$75-$200 stipend based on membership.

Up to $500 in grants.

how to get your stipend

It's simple!
1. Complete your update form
2. Sign your affiliation agreement: you must be an Active or Official chapter to qualify
3. Submit your updated membership roster

Once that's processed, you'll get an email at your official chapter gmail address with a link to claim your funds. You can take it as a prepaid Visa or Mastercard, Venmo, PayPal, bank transfer, or a gift card (Amazon, Target, and others).

Plan ahead. Choose your payout method 3-5 days before you need the money. If your school doesn't allow gift cards, let your Program Coordinator know.

Grants are available for active and official chapters running community or campus events. Funding is limited and priority goes to events reaching 40+ people.

Your stipend is the baseline. Bonus Funds are how you earn more for your chapter on top of it.

Post a Reel on Instagram or TikTok: member spotlights, story time, a day in the life, whatever feels real	Table at your involvement fair or connect with another student group	Share Diabetes Link info with your endocrinologist or volunteer at a local diabetes clinic
Partner with your college's Instagram to highlight your chapter	Get the word out to campus offices: Health Centers, Wellness, Disability Services, Admissions	Show up to local events: diabetes camps, org meetups, hospital health fairs
Get your chapter featured in your school newspaper or newsletter	Throw a diaversary party or diabetes-themed event for your members	Bring together students from nearby campuses for a hangout
Host a game night on Discord with the wider community	Welcome someone new, whether they have diabetes themselves or just someone who gets it	Organize something bigger: a 5K, health fair, or campus awareness event
Reshare an educational post from Blue Circle Health, DPAC, or The Diabetes Link to your story	Host a learning session: Emergency Low Preparedness, Newly Diagnosed, Advocacy, T1D Screening (we can help with materials)	Share Off to College resources with new students and families
		Join DPAC as an Advocacy Champion and work on state-level diabetes policy
		In select states: spread the word about Blue Circle Health as a free care resource for T1Ds
