So, why start a chapter when you could just start a group chat? Because we want to support you – and we’re a good hang. When you start a chapter you get the full weight of the entire Diabetes Link team and a national college network.

That includes $$$, swag/merch, meetup ideas, event help, opportunities to rep The Link, connections to other students on other campuses.

You don't need a club budget or a faculty sponsor or a perfect plan. All you need a couple people and an interest in supporting each other.

Chapters come in three styles

  • Social (you and a friend)

  • Active (a few friends and a little paperwork + more $)

  • Official  (a few more friends, a bit more paperwork + more $$)

Here's how it works:

  • Step 1: Fill out the Start a Chapter form 

  • Step 2: Join the network (a form or two)

  • Step 3: Find one or two people

  • Step 4: Plan something. Anything.

That's it. We'll handle the rest: funding, event ideas, connections to chapter leaders doing this at schools just like yours.
