The Diabetes Link appoints Manuel (Manny) Hernandez as new CEO to lead efforts in supporting young adults with diabetes.

Manny Hernandez CEOThe Diabetes Link is excited to announce Manuel (Manny) Hernandez’s appointment as its new Chief Executive Officer (CEO). With over two decades of experience in the diabetes sector and a strong track record in nonprofit leadership and strategic growth, Manny has consistently demonstrated a passion for The Diabetes Link’s vision: “a future where all young adults are equipped and inspired to live confidently and courageously with diabetes.”

“It’s a privilege to have Manny join us as the CEO,” said Brad Stadler, Chairman of the Board for The Diabetes Link. “Manny’s exceptional leadership skills and deep-rooted passion make him the perfect choice for this role.”

As CEO, Manny will spearhead initiatives to honor The Link’s expanded mission to serve young adults between the ages of 18 and 30 living with all forms of diabetes. In addition, Manny will work closely with our valued partners and supporters to scale The Link’s strong foundation of programming.

Marie Schiller, outgoing interim CEO, will remain on staff through the end of the year to ensure a seamless transition and then will return to her role as a Board member: “We are confident that under Manny’s leadership, The Diabetes Link will continue to expand our reach to ensure every young adult living with diabetes has access to the resources and community they need.”
